Neste domingo, todos nós amantes do cinema estaremos sentadinhos em frente à TV mais tarde para acompanhar a entrega do Oscar 2015. Sim, marcaremos nossa presença como espectadores para ver os vestidos, as beldades, Neil Patrick I-LOVE-YOU Harris (grandes expectativas), acompanhar as performances das músicas originais indicadas e.. Bem, é basicamente isso, pois de filme nós já sabemos que Academia não entende nada.
Aproveitamos o ensejo para rememorar filmes da seleta lista do Oscar, entre indicados e ganhadores, que a LBM traduziu nos últimos anos. Vamos lembrar apenas os bons, deixando-os de recomendação para @s noss@s querid@s leitor@s quando estiverem procurando aquele filminho bão para assistir.

Vamos dar a largada então no ano de 2010. Em 2009, pusemos as mãos no filme “Coração Louco” com Jeff Bridges, que levou o Oscar de melhor ator em 2010. Muito merecido: o velho teve que cachaçar muito no papel para ficar tão mal das pernas.
Mas 2011 foi definitivamente um dos anos mais espetaculares dos últimos tempos para o sócio-pai e sua filha em se tratando de Oscar. Os futuros integrantes da LBM orgulhosamente traduziram “O Discurso do Rei” e “Cisne Negro”, que juntos levaram os Oscars de Melhor Filme, Melhor Diretor, Melhor Ator (Colin Firth), Melhor Roteiro Original (para o “Discurso”) e Melhor Atriz (para o “Cisne” – Natalie Portman). A LBM traduziu também “Namorados para Sempre” com Michelle Williams, que estava indicada como Melhor Atriz. Filme bom. O maior vencedor do Oscar foi a futura LBM.
Em 2012, começamos traduzindo “Os Descendentes”, que recebeu indicações de Melhor Filme, Melhor Ator para George Clooney, Melhor Diretor, mas só levou mesmo o prêmio de Melhor Roteiro Adaptado. Membros anônimos da LBM tendem a concordar que a Academia fez bem em não distribuir prêmios para esse filme. Houve, no entanto, quem tenha apreciado ver George Clooney corno.
Também em 2012, fizemos “Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy”, um filme bem bacaninha pelo qual Gary Oldman recebeu indicação de Melhor Ator.
Mas todos foram deixados no chinelo pelo maravilhoso Jean Dujardin em “O Artista”, filme que passou o rodo nos Oscars de Melhor Filme, Melhor Diretor e Melhor Ator. O filme não era falado, mas as simpáticas cartelinhas foram carinhosamente traduzidas pela futura LBM. Recomendamos fortemente.
Para fechar um ótimo 2012 para nós, Meryl Streep ganhou o Oscar de Melhor Atriz (shocker) por “A Dama de Ferro”, também feitinho por nós.
Por motivos cuja explicação é de difícil entendimento às pessoas de até mesmo meio cérebro, Michael Fassbender não foi sequer indicado ao Oscar de Melhor Ator por “Vergonha”, também traduzido por nós. Deixamos a indicação mesmo assim.
Faremos agora um salto para 2014, pois todos queremos esquecer o ridículo Oscar de 2013.
Enfim, em 2014 a participação da LBM (que já era LBM!) foi discreta, mas marcante. O ratinho marrom foi o responsável pela tradução de nada menos que “O Lobo de Wall Street”, aquele filminho pequeno (179 minutos), pouco falado (cerca de 3000 diálogos), que nos foi enviado na semana do Natal para ser entregue antes do Ano Novo. Que delícia!
O filme recebeu zilhões de indicações, mas não levou nada. O Leo merecia muito, coitado. Mas fica a nossa indicação para vocês rirem, chorarem, se indignarem e terem certeza de que nada do que vocês fizeram na vida pode ser tão ruim.
Enfim, neste ano de 2015, convidamos vocês para assistir a partir de 12/3 nos cinemas “Para Sempre Alice” com Julianne Moore, que está indicada a Melhor Atriz e tem grandes chances de ganhar. Filme traduzido no capricho pela LBM 😉
