Hoje, “Bingo – O Rei das Manhãs” está estreando no circuito nacional e nós viemos contar para vocês como o ratinho anda de palhaçada com esse filme há um bom tempo.

As legendas foram aprontadas e ficamos no aguardo da exibição do filme em algum festival. Essa é uma trajetória comum para filmes brasileiros; serem exibidos em festivais internacionais antes de estrearem por aqui. São várias versões diferentes que percorrem os circuitos internacionais até o corte final ser fechado e exibido nos nossos cinemas. Em entrevista ao site Adoro Cinema, no entanto, o diretor disse mesmo que não havia feito o filme pensando em festivais. ”Fiz esse filme pensando em fazer um grande filme, o melhor filme que eu pudesse fazer.” Ok, Mr. Rezende! Não há dúvidas de que o filme ganhará o mundo com a tradução do ratinho. Ficamos no aguardo!
Mais recentemente, perto da sua estreia, o palhaço mais querido do Brasil pediu ajuda ao mouse para chegar a todos os públicos. O filme teve toda a sua acessibilidade feita com a gente, que curtiu muito essa honra e agora queremos dividir algumas curiosidades com vocês. No filme, em especial, em que precisamos acompanhar a velocidade da fala, soletrar toma muito tempo e é mais difícil de acompanhar. Assim, as personagens principais ganham sinais. Olha como ficou o sinal do Bingo:
É comum que os sinais que referenciam pessoas se apropriem de alguma característica física delas. Nesse sentido, o filme trouxe algo inusitado para nossa tradução em Libras. Durante boa parte da história, o palhaço Bingo interage com Sr. Olsen, um cara meio velho, meio chato, que é um gringo que veio ao Brasil supervisionar o início da franquia do programa no Brasil. Na nossa tradução, o personagem foi identificado por um sinal que fazia menção ao seus óculos, com a intérprete levando uma mão fazendo círculo vazado ao olho.
Mas, como diria o Bingo, a vida não é mole, não. Em diversos momentos, o Bingo se dirige ao Sr. Olsen como Sr. Parker, Sr. Walker, e assim vai, cada vez com um sobrenome diferente, mostrando total descaso com quem ele é. Como levar isso para tradução em Libras? Achamos a solução fazendo variações do sinal original dos óculos, por vezes levando as duas mãos ao rosto, outras vezes fazendo os óculos meio tortos. Paloma disse que foi algo inédito para ela! Mas legal mesmo foi interpretar a Gretchen dançando a Conga, não foi, Paloma?

Por fim, só podemos dizer uma coisa: corram para o cinema para assistir ao filme, é imperdível. Como diz o Tiago Belotti no vídeo, “clássico nacional instantâneo”.
