João Artur, gerente de projetos da LBM falando… sequestrei o blog esta semana e vou falar um pouco sobre Legendagem para Surdos e Ensurdecidos e os lançamentos da LBM esta semana, “Lino – Uma Aventura de Sete Vidas” e “2:22 – Encontro Marcado”, dois lançamentos bem distintos, nas exigências dos serviços, dos públicos-alvo e, claro, no processo de trabalho em si. Nas postagens mais recentes no blog, mencionamos a audiodescrição e a janela de Libras, duas das principais modalidades de acessibilidade audiovisual e sempre faltava ela, a legenda para surdos e ensurdecidos. Não falta mais! Espero que gostem do post e comentem. Vai ser um prazer interagir com vocês.
O processo de legendagem para surdos e ensurdecidos (“Ah, mas não é closed caption que fala?” Isso é papo para outro post, mas pode deixar que a gente volta para esclarecer esse babado terminológico-conceitual em outra oportunidade) pode parecer muito sem graça para a maioria das pessoas, afinal “é só transcrever as falas dos personagens”, alguns diriam. Mas é aí que muitos se enganam! Trago aqui dois fatos importantes para a gente iniciar a nossa conversa sobre legendagem para surdos e ensurdecidos (LSE):
1) ela deve comunicar de maneira objetiva e clara a fala dos personagens, otimizando o tempo de leitura. Por quê? O público-alvo primário, de surdos e ensurdecidos, tem o português como segunda língua (sendo a língua de sinais, Libras no Brasil, a primeira), o que faz com que a fluência dessas pessoas não seja tão boa quanto a de um ouvinte. Sendo assim, não é “só transcrever as falas dos personagens”. É preciso levar em conta o resumo e a adaptação dessas falas, sem descaracterizar, ou descaracterizando minimamente o conteúdo original. E vocês viram ali em cima que eu falei em público-alvo primário, né? Isso mesmo… é porque as legendas na mesma língua do conteúdo audiovisual servem ainda a outro público, o de estrangeiros que estão aprendendo uma segunda língua – afinal quem nunca deu um upgrade no inglês assistindo séries, hein?
2) desde a introdução do som no Cinema e a sua metamorfose numa arte audiovisual, o trabalho de músicos, técnicos e operadores de áudio e sonoplastas passou a ser parte fundamental da maneira como contamos histórias na sala escura. Duvida? É só ver o exemplo recente do cultuado diretor David Lynch que, na terceira temporada da aclamada série “Twin Peaks”, além de assinar o roteiro e atuar se encarregou pessoalmente da sonoplastia de todos os 18 episódios. Pouco trabalho, né? Ou seja, o burburinho que se iniciou quando o mal-encarado pediu leite no saloon, o marulho que Jack e Rose ouviram em cima da porta (a propósito, cabia mais um) o silêncio sepulcral ao mencionar o nome de “você-sabe-quem”, tudo isso é pensado com carinho e compõe a obra audiovisual. Podemos falar ainda das características que determinado ambiente imprime sobre a voz de um personagem, como eco e reverberação; de modulações propositais, afetações e idiossincrasias e mais uma pá de coisas, mas vamos aos lançamentos da semana. =0)
Nesta semana de feriadão nacional, o ratinho teve o prazer de tornar acessível um filme para um público muitíssimo especial, o infantil. A animação brasileira “Lino – Uma Aventura de Sete Vidas”, do Estúdio StartAnima, distribuído pela Fox, estreia em mais de 400 salas simultaneamente com LSE e audiodescrição feita pelo ratinho. (É tanta sala que se você tropeçar pode cair numa! Então aproveita e assiste o filme.) O Estúdio StartAnima é um dos pioneiros da animação no Brasil, tendo completado 50 anos em 2016, e foi responsável por diversos comerciais antes de enveredar pelos longas-metragens. Vai dizer que você não lembra desta joia?
Agora com a mesma tecnologia de animação dos grandes estúdios americanos, Lino, um rapaz azarado que virou um gato enorme, precisava de legendas um pouco mais enxutas e adaptadas que o habitual para contar a sua história, com uma velocidade de leitura para que a criançada conseguisse acompanhar melhor sua jornada. Mas nosso capricho não parou por aí, óbvio! Além da preocupação em manter todas as legendas dentro de uma velocidade média de leitura confortável para a garotada, muitas das tradicionais descrições das legendas deram lugar a onomatopeias engraçadíssimas que ajudam a dar o tom do filme e são de facílima assimilação, afinal já estão presentes nos livros infantis e nos gibis que essa galera lê. E convenhamos… cof, cof, cof! – nossa, até tossi aqui – num filme em que os personagens soltam pum, não dá pra ficar fazendo cerimônia na descrição dos sons, né? Agora corre lá e curte esse filmão. Aproveita e leva o catarrento do seu sobrinho seu sobrinho lindo. Sério… Lino vai agradar baixinhos e altinhos, pode confiar.
E para completar essa semana de estreia dupla da LBM nos cinemas, o ratinho caprichou nas legendas de “2:22 – Encontro Marcado”, da Playarte. E se você também passou a última temporada de Game of Thrones se perguntando que diabos o Daario Naharis ficou fazendo em Meereen, talvez a gente possa te ajudar. Um filme! =0) Nesse thriller com uma pitada de elementos cósmicos protagonizado por Daario Michiel Huisman, uma série de eventos padronizados que se encerram diariamente às 14h22 chacoalha a vida de seu personagem, Dylan, um operador de voos que quase causa a colisão de dois aviões. Em um deles, porém, estava Sarah (Teresa Palmer), que não tem três dois dragões cuspindo fogo no cangote dele e está disposta a desvendar esse mistério para garantir que eles possam continuar juntos. <3
