A LBM em cartaz: “Como Nossos Pais”

Duas quintas seguidas de estreia, que alegria! Mas não é qualquer estreia: depois do grande debute do “Bingo” semana passada, hoje voltamos com o já superpremiado “Como Nossos Pais”, que arrasou no Festival de Cinema de Gramado e levou seis kikitos para casa. Mais uma produção da nossa parceira do coração, a Gullane Entretenimento.

“Por fim, gostaria de agradecer à LBM por me fazer soar tão cool nas legendas em inglês.” Quem esteve lá que desminta o discurso da Maria Ribeiro!

Temos muito para contar sobre o filme em termos de tradução e acessibilidade e não temos tempo a perder!

COMO NOSSOS PAIS (CNP)

Assim como seu primo “Bingo”, “CNP” chegou até nós no meio do ano passado. A primeira versão que legendamos para o inglês tinha 2h30 de duração, então tivemos o privilégio de ver muitas cenas que foram cortadas depois. Posteriormente, fomos reajustando a marcação e o texto para versões mais compactas. Tudo isso para que o filme fosse visto por aí e ganhasse sua vez em algum festival.

Ele acabou por estrear em nada menos do que o Festival de Berlim, na mostra Panorama, que ocorreu no começo do primeiro semestre. Batizado de “Just Like Our Parents” na língua inglesa, foi aclamado por público e crítica e voltou para o Brasil já na preparação para sua estreia nacional, no segundo semestre. Durante a pré-estreia do Rio na terça-feira, nosso intrépido gerente de projetos João Artur bateu um papo com Luiz Bolognesi, co-roteirista do filme, que elogiou muito nossas legendas no festival e disse que foi sucesso! O filme recebeu crítica dos principais veículos internacionais, como a revista Variety, que por tabela ainda entrevistou a diretora e a protagonista (leia em inglês aqui).

Tietar roteirista é para poucos, tem que manjar muito de cinema!

Legendas em inglês feitas, rodadas e famosas: check. Seguimos então para a acessibilidade do filme, que contou com um delivery acessível completo que poderá ser acompanhado no cinema por aplicativo. Para quem ainda não acostumou com o funcionamento da acessibilidade audiovisual, as três modalidades são: legendas descritivas (o famoso closed caption), audiodescrição e janela de Libras.

A temática feminista do filmão pediu uma voz feminina e, para tal, pudemos contar com o talento da Ana Paula Schneider. Durante a gravação, Ana estava com olhos e boca em tamanho normal, bem como sua voz natural.

Quem ainda não conhece a Bocuda e sua simpatia nata, não perca mais tempo!

Na janela de Libras, claro, nossa Paloma não poupou esforços. O filme é bastante falado e a interpretação foi extensa. Não podemos esquecer também que a trilha sonora precisa ser sinalizada. Além de sinalizar a entrada da música de fundo indicando que tipo de música é, às vezes é necessário interpretar a letra, caso ela seja relevante (bem parecido com o que fazemos na legendagem). Foi o caso, por exemplo, da canção “Show das Poderosas” da Anitta, que tem um trechinho seu cantado pelas filhas da protagonista Rosa. Acompanhem a ginga da menina Paloma:

A notoriedade da música, no entanto, não foi o único motivo pelo qual ela estava lá e foi até interpretada em Libras. Ela foi escolhida a dedo pela diretora Laís Bodanzky como forma de retratação por ter descreditado o trabalho da cantora no passado.
