A LBM em cartaz: Agosto

É verdade que ainda estamos juntando algumas informações para colocar no blog e a incrível equipe da Omi Creative, que desenvolveu nosso novo blog, ainda está fazendo alguns ajustes. Maaaas, achamos que valia a pena apresentá-lo como está para vocês neste lindo dia primeiro de setembro para comemorar um espetacular mês de agosto.

No mês que acaba de nos deixar, a LBM teve cinco lançamentos no cinema. Isso mesmo, houve semana em que foi possível ver duas novidades lbmísticas nas telonas! Tivemos dois filmes de terror, um drama, um sci-fi e, orgulhosamente, um filme nacional!

Como recordar é viver, vamos aos títulos.

Nossa primeira estreia do mês de agosto foi esse terror/suspense distribuido pela PlayArte Pictures. Lembram-se do Jason do True Blood? Ele veio dar oizinho nesse filme. Vejam a sinopse:

Um voo sai dos Estados Unidos em direção ao Japão. Durante as dez horas de voo, os passageiros pensam como se distrair… Até perceberem uma presença estranha e sobrenatural dentro do avião. Em pouco tempo, fenômenos estranhos ameaçam a vida de todos os passageiros e tripulantes. (Fonte: adorocinema.com)

Infelizmente, já saiu de cartaz. Mas aguardamos em outras mídias.

A DAMA DOURADA

Na segunda semana de agosto, foi lançado “A Dama Dourada”, da Diamond Films. O filme conta a história da disputa pelo quadro de Klimt. Sinopse:

Década de 1980. Maria Altmann (Helen Mirren) é uma judia sobrevivente da Segunda Guerra Mundial que decide processar o governo austríaco para recuperar o quadro “Woman in Gold”, de Gustav Klimt – retrato de sua tia que foi roubado pelos nazistas durante a ocupação. Ela conta com a ajuda de um jovem advogado, inexperiente e idealista (Ryan Reynolds). (Fonte: adorocinema.com)

A trama envolvente continua em cartaz, então corra para achar uma sessão!

EXORCISTAS DO VATICANO

Na terceira semana, novo filme de terror, desta vez da Diamond Films, “Exorcistas do Vaticano”. Fãs do cinema sabem que os exorcismos estão na moda novamente. Vejam a sinopse:

Angela Holmes (Olivia Taylor Dudley), de 27 anos, acidentalmente corta seu dedo e vai parar na emergência, quando a infecção do ferimento faz com que ela comece a agir de forma estranha e assombrosamente começa a causar ferimentos graves e até mortes nas pessoas ao seu redor. O Padre Lozano (Michael Peña) examina a moça e acredita que ela está possuída. Ao tentar exorcisar o demônio, o Vaticano descobre que a força satânica em Angela é mais forte do que eles imaginavam. Ainda há muitas sessões disponíveis para esse filme, então pegue a sua cruz e água benta e vá logo para o cinema.

EXPRESSO DO AMANHÃ

A última semana de agosto foi apenas para grandes sucessos de crítica. O surpreendente sci-fi “Expresso do Amanhã”, distribuído pela PlayArte Pictures, foi muito elogiado pela forma única como retratou a luta de classes. Leiam a sinopse:

Quando um experimento para impedir o aquecimento global falha, uma nova era do gelo toma conta do planeta Terra. Os únicos sobreviventes estão a bordo de uma imensa máquina chamada Snowpiercer. Lá, os mais pobres vivem em condições terríveis, enquanto a classe rica é repleta de pessoas que se comportam como reis. QUE HORAS ELA VOLTA?

Fechando com chave de ouro, a produção brasileira “Que Horas Ela Volta?” da Gullane Filmes estreou na semana passada depois de ganhar um mundaréu de prêmios internacionais. A LBM fez a versão desse filme para o inglês e nos consideramos premiados também! Vejam a sinopse:

A pernambucana Val (Regina Casé) se mudou para São Paulo a fim de dar melhores condições de vida para sua filha Jéssica. Com muito receio, ela deixou a menina no interior de Pernambuco para ser babá de Fabinho, morando integralmente na casa de seus patrões. Treze anos depois, quando o menino (Michel Joelsas) vai prestar vestibular, Jéssica (Camila Márdila) lhe telefona, pedindo ajuda para ir à São Paulo, no intuito de prestar a mesma prova. Os chefes de Val recebem a menina de braços abertos, só que quando ela deixa de seguir certo protocolo, circulando livremente, como não deveria, a situação se complica. (Fonte: adorocinema.com)
